The Juniors from the Central Alberta Archers Association had an extremely successful year in 2008!

2008 Alberta Winter Games: The 2008 Alberta Winter Games were held February 14-17 in Leduc, AB. This year our team for Zone 4 consisted of 12
archers from our club, and of these seven medals were won in eight categories (3 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze)!

12 & 13 in Edmonton, AB. Congratulations to all those who participated and to those who "medaled".

2008 MICA Tournament (Multi Indoor Sites of the Americas): The MICA tournament
(both for individual and team participation) for our area was held April 30th at our lanes. All scores are then submitted to a central tabulating center for
compilation for placement. The following archers from our area were placed as follows (remembering this is within all of North America). Congratulations to
those who participated and did so well!

Anthony LeBlanc - Jr Male Compound: Anthony participated in a number of
competitions throughout the summer on his way to making the team going to the World Juniors. This past October, Anthony participated in the World Juniors
Competition held in Turkey. CAAA was glad to sponsor him and want to congratulate him on placing 20th overall! |
